The Uyn RACE DEEPWINTER bibtight is the result of a long development process: Uyn wanted everything to be perfect to allow cyclists to face the coldest days. Developing new technologies takes time, especially if the goal is ambitious: maximum thermal capacity, protection from the elements, unparalleled comfort over long distances. It all started by analyzing the position of the cyclist on the bicycle. In the most exposed areas (tibia, buttocks and quadriceps) a fabric coupled with the waterproof and highly elastic MEMBRAIN115 membrane was used and, on the internal surface, the exclusive BUFFERCONE bodymapped structure that traps body heat creating an insulating layer. In the abdominal, lumbar and dorsal area, waterproofing is obtained thanks to a wash-resistant treatment. Strategic inserts at the calf, in double-layer knit, optimize the fit and guarantee great freedom of movement. The back is protected by a layer of highly insulating Buffercone fabric to help keep the body warm even after many hours in the saddle.
