In the inner layer in contact with the skin, BUFFERCONE is able to retain body heat while keeping the leg muscles always at the right temperature. The human body produces heat, the most effective form of insulation is the one able to prevent its dispersion. UYN technicians have developed a material with an innovative structure that combines the properties of knitted fabrics with the ability to retain heat. The three-dimensional and soft surface traps the hot air in conical bearings (“buffer cones”) thus generating an insulating layer. Unlike common fleece fabrics, Buffercone fabric has a variable density. Based on the mapping of the distribution of heat produced by the human body, it is possible to create areas with high, medium and low insulating power.
