The open structure with foam cage ensures excellent air circulation without compromising safety. The inseparable combination of a cushioning EPS inner layer and several outer layers of polycarbonate generates a high level of stability while keeping the weight low. An optional aerodynamic cover can be applied to cover some of the openings. Computer simulations, track tests, and wind tunnel tests confirm the significantly reduced air resistance, ideal when every second counts.
