The first sleeveless cycling jersey was introduced in the 1980s, shortly after the arrival of laminated “shell” fabrics. From the beginning, it was specifically designed for professional riders as the ultimate expression of versatility and essentiality; a true ’emergency friend’ capable of providing a whole series of protective factors with a very reduced volume. Over time, the vest has managed to differentiate into two distinct categories: the waterproof/windproof model and the thermal model, used as protection against the cold. The Q36.5 vest eliminates the distinction between the two categories with this 137g article suitable for all four seasons. It is made with UFHybridShell fabric, a brushed/fleeced material that, constructed without a membrane (which would provide windproof or water-repellent characteristics), is woven on the outer side at such an incredibly high density that it creates a level of wind resistance comparable to traditional soft shell fabric, while maintaining high breathability.
