And above all, far superior elasticity and less resistance to movement in all directions, thanks to the ability of Karl Mayer machines to build multiple tubes without any seams (most ‘sleeveless’ underwear still requires edging around the armhole due to technological construction limits). Clearly, the elimination of all seams (except for two joining points on the shoulders) significantly increases the comfort of a tight-fitting garment, such as the Jersey base layer. Lightweight material that is much more durable and less fragile, thanks to the fact that, unlike other textile machines, Karl Mayer machines can create a snag-free garment. The Jersey base layer is cut raw, thus all seams and hems are eliminated from the garment. Therefore, it is also possible to cut and modify the garment according to the user’s wishes without compromising the product’s durability and without the risk of the fabric fraying. The honeycomb structure of the Jersey is offered in various densities, combined with some more or less open mesh sections, taking into account the thermal requirements and sweating zones of the athlete’s body. This not only improves comfort and protection but also significantly reduces the volume of the product. The result is an extraordinarily pure and minimalist Jersey base layer.
