The Met Drone Wide Body II helmet is the second generation of the helmet that has triumphed in numerous Time Trials of the World Tour and in the Ironman World Championships. Chosen by the best triathletes in the world and winner, along with the UAE Team Emirates and Tadej Pogaar, of the time trials at the Giro and at Tour de France, the new Drone has been designed in the TUBE, a new and advanced wind tunnel built at MET’s headquarters in Talamona. A new tail design allows the helmet and head to assume a lower position, creating an aerodynamic shield for the shoulders. This concept, developed in the Tube, our wind tunnel, makes the new Drone II 13.5 seconds faster on a 40 km time trial compared to the previous version.
