Switchblade MIPS is the new full-face helmet with downhill ASTM certification and a removable chinbar. Everything about Switchblade is optimized for downhill, which is why it is certified CPSC, EN-1078, and ASTM-1952-DH with and without the chinbar. The chinbar is easy to remove: just press the buttons under the chin guard, rotate upwards, and remove it, and it is just as easy to reinstall. The Switchblade MIPS features the new Roc Loc Air DH system, which has a bumper around the dial to prevent accidental adjustments if the helmet contacts the backpack or neck support, all while keeping cool. When the chinbar detaches, the Wind Tunnel visor ventilation adds even more cooling power to the ride. Additionally, the full-cut style gives this helmet an aggressive look and provides ASTM certified coverage even when the chinbar is removed. When your ride is entirely downhill, your helmet should be too, and the Switchblade MIPS is the only removable helmet that is truly built for downhill.
