FSA SL-K Modular DM BB392 EVO crankset. The new range of FSA mountain bike cranksets is designed according to a completely modular system. This crank in fact exploits FSA’s MODULAR technology which allows it to optimize the chain line and makes it ideal for any frame, standard or boost. In fact, a 3mm spacer can be installed on both sides of the spider or the direct-mount chainring to perfectly set the chain-line: the result is a fluid change from the largest to the smallest sprockets. The crank also features Megatooth technology, another technology prepared by FSA. The front chainring teeth are higher than normal, reducing the chance of the chain going down. The asymmetrical profile of the teeth also favors the positioning of the chain while pedaling, to the benefit of the fluidity of operation. Finally, the “diamond” section of the teeth leaves more light between them and the chain, promoting the discharge of dirt and reducing wear.
