The Dotout Verto 2.0 jacket – Yellow is a jacket with a soft shape, suitable for new generation cycling, from road to gravel, from MTB to E-bike in cold and humid environments. The features of the garment also expand its use to other outdoor activities. Verto 2.0 represents an extraordinary combination of technologies and style. It is made with the special Dot Sandwich structure, pairing the Dot Air Light fabric on the outside for protection from the wind, with the exclusive Polartec Alpha fabric on the inside. The fabric developed in collaboration with the USA special forces ensures high performance in terms of breathability, thermal protection, and quick drying. The two fabrics thus assembled introduce the new concept of ‘active protection’ of the garment, meaning maximum control over the relationship between thermal protection/body moisture disposal, thus avoiding the ‘chill’ effect during descents or less active phases. Polartec Alpha, being a structured insulation with a special net, is used in a ‘Direct’ manner without lining, ensuring lightness and compressibility of the garment. Polartec fabrics guarantee the performance for which they were designed throughout the life cycle of the garment.

Dot Sandwich Construction

The Dot Sandwich construction uses two distinct fabrics that are not bonded together, improving protection from external agents such as air and water. This double-layer design increases internal thermal comfort and promotes breathability, accelerating drying and air exchange.

Thanks to this technology, the body remains dry and warm, even in the most unfavorable weather conditions.

Polartec Alpha

Polartec Alpha is an innovative fabric designed to offer comfort and superior performance. Thanks to its ability to quickly transfer body moisture from the inside to the outside, it guarantees drying times up to 60% faster than traditional fabrics.

Ideal for facing variable conditions, this fabric offers warmth without adding bulk, is hydrophobic, and dries quickly, minimizing heat loss. Even in case of humidity or wetness, Polartec Alpha retains its insulating properties and protects against the wind.

The thermal layer is further enhanced by a double-sourced elastic shell, treated with water repellent technology to resist light rain, thus offering complete protection in any weather situation.

Dot Air Block Fabrics

The Dot Air Block fabrics offer effective protection against the wind, but not against water. Here are their main features:

• Provide protection from air but not from water.
• Equipped with an internal windproof coating.
• Facilitate the passage of vapor molecules from the inside to the outside.
• Breathability occurs consistently through mechanical means via the micro-holes created between the fabric and the coating.
• Have an external surface treatment that is water repellent.
• Breathable materials with different weights, layers, and elasticity levels (fixed, 2 way stretch, 4 way stretch).
