The Fsa NS SMR handlebar stem with the FSA SMR – Smart Cable Routing system is designed around a versatile combination of stem and headset that allows for a variety of cable routing both integrated and semi-integrated. Using FSA’s knowledge base, the SMR system provides a “plug-in” solution for bicycle brands looking to internally route cables, wires, and hoses to the frame. Compatible with both electronic and mechanical shifting and hydraulic and mechanical brakes, the SMR system is truly the most versatile and adaptable cable routing solution available on the market. The SMR stem is adaptable for either complete internal wiring from the handlebar through the stem and headset into the frame or in a semi-integrated path with flexible cables, wires, and hoses passing under the stem and held by the SMR cover.
