Body Assos Equipe RS LeHoudini Road is the third garment to join the S9 generation, and it has been designed entirely from scratch, keeping in mind the main objective: to offer you the perfect balance between targeted support and unparalleled speed. The approach followed required to examine the whole concept of body, starting from the bottom. Assos has used the A-Lock Engineering system, the new support system made up of proprietary technologies and fabrics that work together to provide stability to the shorts and keep the pad in place.
- AeroFit: the thinnest cut, focused on speed, narrower and more compressive than the running Fit. It may seem restrictive out of the driving position, but it looks like a second skin while driving.
- A-Lock Engineering: S9 racing Fit system which includes new fabrics and technologies that work in harmony to stabilize the shorts and fix the insert in place.
- Butterfly motif: The main textile panel that completely wraps the lower back and the legs, which join in the back. Fewer seams allow for a smoother grip, lower weight and greater comfort.
- Type.441: A patented 40-caliber warp knit, specially developed for compression and silky comfort. 200 g / m2, UPF 50+, moisture absorption (idroFil fastDry), iceColor, odorControl and extremely resistant.
- ErgoBox: A square motif construction that effectively frames the insert on the back, boxing it for greater stability.
- Pliers for ultralight legs: A light silicone treatment braided in the leg straps, which reduces the mass of the fabric and fixes the shorts in position without any excessive pressure.
- Mod.Dep S9 Basalt: Booster top sheet in antibacterial microfiber in 3D basalt coloring. It pays homage to the lava stone which gives us strength, stability and courage.
- MicroShock superAir foam: a light open cell foam with a shock absorbing composition that returns to its original position, filling the space every time the pedaling position is changed in the saddle through weight shifting.
- 3D Waffle: Patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.
- Surface reduction design: insert the footprint reduced by the previous Equipe Evo model to lose extra grams.
- GoldenGate: a patented technology that interrupts the seams along both side panels of the insert, allowing greater three-dimensional freedom of movement in this delicate rotation area.
- Horizontal stabilizer: a patented central point that fixes the rear part of the insert to the external fabric, eliminating the displacement while pedaling out of the saddle.
- krater Cooler: System of small holes in the front of the insert which increases the air flow so that sensitive areas are kept colder.
- MiniCheck Tex: open 3D mesh fabric with truly exceptional breathability. Quick and super light drying. UPF 25 despite weighing so little. Built-in odor control for strength and hygiene.
- Push Pull: the pockets and sleeves are made with our Push Pull knitted fabric developed by ASSOS with high UV protection (UPF 50+). Highly breathable, this thin shirt with bi-stretch is quick-drying and very comfortable.
- Stabilizer: Light but resistant material, perfect for creating a cooling panel on the back of the shirt. Maintains stability and alignment – and has UPF30 – despite its minimal weight and volume.
- Triple ramp pockets: Storage design with three pockets with fabric cover in an optimal position for easy access; guaranteed safety and stability. Earphone hole in the right pocket; micro-perforated glued reflection for visibility.
- Mesh radio pocket: sewn into the rear seam / seam for accessible but out of the way positioning.
- Falken Cut: exclusive ASSOS triangular model on the abdominal area for ultra-smooth wrapping.
- Triple slider hinge: the closed hinge allows you to keep the chest-neck section sealed, or to drag it, while still opening the lower section for extra air flow.
- Raw cut + glued sleeves: the smooth and enveloping front with the glued back creates the best balance between comfort and stability.
