With the integration of MIPS AIR, we have incorporated the lightest and most advanced rotational management system directly into the helmet’s padding. MIPS AIR is specifically designed to mitigate the rotational forces that can be transferred to the head during certain angled impacts, allowing for 10-15 mm of relative movement between the energy-absorbing layer and the padding for optimal protection. The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS sets an unparalleled standard in terms of performance. Our R&D team has leveraged the elastic modulus of carbon to reduce the density of the EPS foam by 20%, creating a lighter yet more performing shell, establishing a new benchmark in the design of ventilated helmets. Utilizing the Venturi effect, the helmet channels warm air through strategically positioned exhausts, ensuring a continuous airflow without increasing drag.
