Poc Cytal Lite Helmet – Black

Exceptionally lightweight and highly ventilated, the Cytal Lite is the helmet that offers climbers exceptional comfort and protection in the mountains. Our lightest helmet ever, the Cytal Lite, is a true climbing helmet, equipped with wide open ventilation channels that allow for easy dispersal of as much heat as possible from the entire head, even during the slowest climbs. To ensure safety and reduce weight, the helmet features a visible EPS shell, with an external PC liner only in the most necessary points for greater structural stability. The helmet has a brim similar to that found in similar helmets, the Cytal and the Cytal Carbon, but here it is smaller to allow for greater heat dissipation upwards and out of the helmet during climbing. The interior of the helmet is also optimized to reduce weight. The padding at the front of the head has an open structure that allows for greater airflow around the forehead, reducing weight as much as possible. A lightweight adjustment system is also included, making it easier to find a secure and comfortable fit.

• Extremely lightweight. The helmet is the lightest so far, weighing 180 g (+/-5 g) in size M (safety standard EN1078).
• Structurally strong. The shell and liner combine to provide greater structural integrity and maximum impact protection, even in lightweight conditions.
• Lightweight EPS liner. A low-density EPS liner keeps the weight as low as possible while still providing impact protection.
• Lightweight in-mold PC shell. The external PC shell is minimized wherever possible, covering the liner only where absolutely necessary, in order to save as many grams as possible.
• Open padding structure. The comfort padding at the front of the helmet features only vertical padding, allowing for greater airflow over the forehead and keeping the weight low.
• Integrated visor. A thinner integrated visor helps control airflow through and around the helmet and improves ventilation.
• Lightweight straps. The helmet is kept securely in place with lightweight straps.
• Adjustable fit. A lightweight adjustment system allows anyone to easily find a secure and comfortable fit.
