High Road SL is the first Maxxis clincher to use our new HYPR-S compound. Built on the success of the HYPR compound that debuted on the original High Road, the new HYPR-S compound maintains exceptional grip while reducing rolling resistance by 12 percent. As a superlight clincher with limited puncture protection, High Road SL is recommended for race use only. It is designed to be fast and durability is not its priority. High Road SL is suitable for time trial, velodrome racing or any other situation where a cyclist wants the lightest possible configuration.
