The Fox 36K Float 29 “Factory Boost fork with Kashima coating and improved GRIP2 shock is a lightweight fork with 150mm travel, designed for All Mountain and Trail riders. More tunable and smoother than ever: the 36K Float 29 “Factory Grip2 Tapered Boost by Fox Racing. The award-winning 36 gets a huge performance boost with the new 4-way adjustable FIT GRIP2 shock. Featuring the patent-pending VVC (Variable Valve Control) dual rebound adjuster, improved compression damping and less overall friction, the 36 offers a new level of performance and adjustability that matches X2 shocks. The high-speed compression stage and high-speed return stage are now easily adjustable with 8 clicks. The all-new 36 features a new patent pending floating axle system with quick release lever control, which combines the benefits of a floating axle with the ease of quick release without tools. With this system, the spacing is locked via a floating sleeve, allowing for repeated removal and reinstallation of the front wheel while maintaining perfect fork alignment. The positioning of the floating sleeve is preset from the factory, so if you are unsure how to operate the floating axle system or just don’t want to worry about it, you can just install the front wheel and continue your ride. The arched design of the all-new 36, 38 and 40 is designed to perfectly match modern Enduro and Downhill bikes. The head tube profiles have gotten bigger and the fork offsets shorter and shorter. The new arch shape accommodates this need by leaning forward to provide ample clearance for the full compression head tube. “Factory” says it all. The best technology to offer is available in the Factory Series models with the authentic, smooth and buttery and ultra-durable Kashima coat. These products are tested in the World Cup. The external steps in lower casting reduce the weight.
