The Select version of the SID SL fork shows that Cross Country doesn’t have to be complicated, simply combining race speed with an incredibly lightweight frame. However, without the right performance and durability, the reduced weight makes no sense. While the frame with 32 mm diameter stanchions and internal upgrades is dedicated to durability, the voluminous DebonAir suspension impresses with its adaptability and smoothness, particularly noticeable in the upper part of the travel. Additionally, the Charger XC damping also offers compression adjustment in 3 positions: besides the “Lock” and “Open” settings, the efficient “Pedal” function stands out.
