The Castelli Alpha RoS 2 Light women’s jacket represents the art of dressing just right for cool conditions. In those days when you need some protection from the fresh air, but not so cold that you have to take out your winter jacket, this is ideal. If you dress too much, you will sweat and get cold because you will be wet. If you dress too little, however, you will never feel warm enough to enjoy the ride.
Front wind protection, fabrics with great breathability in the back and versatile water repellency in case you catch a few drops of rain. Wind protection comes from the ultra-light, stretch two-layer GORE-TEX INFINIUM WINDSTOPPER fabric, which moves with you yet is so thin you hardly notice it’s there. This thin windproof layer is supported by a ProSecco Strada inner layer with a separate zip that can be opened independently for perfect ventilation control. The back is made of Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric which guarantees a good level of insulation even without any membrane, to allow a large amount of sweat to evaporate. The fit is so close to the body that there is no fluttering fabric, while the small details make the difference: quick-sliding YKK zip, reflective drain holes on the pockets, a snug silicone band that adheres flat around the waist.
