Compared to previous RS rain bootie covers, the more stretchy fabric fits the shoe better and creates less bulk, preserving the aerodynamic shape and eliminating contact points with the crank. The new fabric is also warmer, improving its temperature-regulating properties when temperatures drop, even when it’s not raining. The toe reinforcement is abrasion resistant and improves traction on wet asphalt.
